Pure neroli oil. Hand-rolled to order. A single stem of citrus blossom, held in smoke.

Neroli comes from the flower of the bitter orange tree. Grown across the Mediterranean and North Africa, it takes around one thousand kilograms of blossom to yield a single kilogram of pure oil. What remains after that process is one of the most refined materials in perfumery: bright, slightly waxy, with a warmth underneath that deepens as it dries.

This incense carries that oil at Grade 1.2. It is hand-rolled in small batches, which allows the blend to hold more oil than a machine-rolled stick can carry. The result is a slower, fuller burn, and a smoke that carries the neroli cleanly rather than burying it.

How to use

Place the stick in a stone or ceramic holder. Light the tip and allow it to catch for around thirty seconds. Blow gently until the flame subsides. The smoke will carry for forty minutes.

Neroli Mist sits well in a work space or a room that needs clearing between one thing and the next. It is not a heavy smoke.

What is in it

Pure neroli oil. Natural wood base. No synthetic fragrance. No binders or fillers beyond what the rolling requires.

Country of origin: Morocco and Tunisia, depending on the seasonal harvest.

Format

Eighteen to twenty sticks per pack. Packed in uncoated kraft paper .

A note on Grade 1.2

Grade designations in this range refer to the ratio of pure essential oil to base material. A Grade 1.2 stick carries a meaningfully higher oil load than standard incense. You will notice it in the first thirty seconds of burn, and again when the smoke reaches the middle of the room.
